Throw in the Dark

Throw In The Dark is series of glow discs from late 80’s to late 90’s. There are total of 25 discs in TITD series. Those discs are:  Aviar (Big bead mold), Putter (Small bead Aviar mold), Classic Aero, Banshee, Barracuda, Cheetah, Cobra, Classic Cobra, Gazelle, Hammer, Moray, Panther, Phenix, Piranha, Ram, Raven, Roc (San Marino), Roc (Ontario), Roc (Rancho), Scorpion, Shark, Stingray, Viper, Whippet and X D.

From those disc, three are above all others in rarity and value. Those three are X D, Hammer and Piranha, X D being the rarest. There has been only one very small run of those each. It’s very hard to give an accurate price guide for those as they pop up for sale rarer than once in five years… But it’s easy to say they are worth over $150 all day.

Rest of 22 are hard to be placed on line based on rarity. Putter, Aviar, Barracuda, Phenix and Moray could be the next rarest, but then again, Panther, Ram and Classic Cobra are very rare also… All in all, this is VERY challenging set to collect.  I have 22 of those now, but I’m doing me best to get the whole set.

Roc3

The Roc3 is new lower profile, flatter and faster Roc mold. I’m a big fan of these! I will list here all first run, big bird, pre-release and 2012 USDGC release Roc3s.  

USDGC Rocs

USDGC Rocs! Since 2001 Innova has produced Rocs as fundraisers for United States Disc Golf Championship every year. In 2005 USDGC started producing official collector guides to preserve accurate information of each disc.
